ELP remote energy monitoring system

You wanna be aware how much energy is being consumed by each appliance you have at home, so you'll know what appliances drag the most electricity and learn a way on how not to waste too much electricity on those appliances.

The ELP is an energy monitoring system that allows you to monitor all those appliances remotely or at your comfort by simply using a web browser.

The system was made by Energy Literacy Platform, a Tokyo-based startup, use compact ELP Modules which plug inline between appliances and AC sockets; they link wirelessly to an ELP Receiver that uploads stats to the ELP server.

And you can use the web browser on your smartphone or computer to monitor which gadget consumes most power so you can turn them off when unnecessary to prevent them from sucking too much of your monthly bills. There are also LED indicators that show you the status of each appliance such as in use, or limit is reached etc. The ELP power monitor shall roll out next year. Watch the clip below for more info.
