You'd have never heard of that Honda are making jet plane these days. Yes, they're, they've even rolled out a jet plane that offers 20% better in fuel efficiency than the competition. And there are 4 factors that give the Honda jet plane with the super efficiency in fuel consumption as follows:
1. Over-the-wing engine mount - You'll need to have an aeronautical engineering degree to understand this. Such an engine mount allows for the reduction of aerodynamic interference, noises and thus lower overall drag. Thus it shall need less power to drive this plane.
2. Improved natural-laminar flow Because they used carbon composites and resins, the design team were able to shape the fuselage in such a way that drag is further reduced. This makes the shape of this Honda plane different from others'; they redirect the air-flow in a more optimal way compared to the typical "straight" fuselages.
3. All-composite fuselage The all-composite fuselage also makes the plane lighter, and thus more fuel-efficient.
4. New engine designed for fuel-efficiency The engine was designed by the team-up between Honda and GE which consists of high-tech fluid dynamics software to optimize airflow within the compact engine, maximizing performance.
Great plane, you can fly further with same amount of fuel using the Honda jet plane.
Hello there.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Isadora and I work for an advertising agency in Los Angeles. We are looking to run a campaign for Honda espousing the value of the brand, and would love to use a piece from Greenest technologies (reference to specific link below) in the creative.
Please let us know if we have your publication’s permission to use the article below, and any restrictions or guidelines we would have to follow (including any photography, etc.).

Thanks and let us know if you have any questions. Turnaround on this is rather quick so we would need an answer in the next couple days.
Best,
Isadora
